*a Waltz Wave: Rock, Paper, Scissors - Poem by Lillian Susan Thomas

Rock
my heart
is
made of;
paper-like
the love
be-
tween us.
Your words cut -
like steel scissors -
love to shreds.
My heart
breaks
(scissors)
promises
you spoke.
Love
covers
wounds.
