A Waltz Wave: Memory Of A Kiss Poem by Lillian Susan Thomas

A Waltz Wave: Memory Of A Kiss

Rating: 3.1

Kiss.
we taste
each
other
and savor
flavors
of
lips, tongues.
Then when you
can't be with me,
that taste is
your name
in
my mouth:
speaking it,
I will
kiss
you once
more.

The word memory is associated with sadness for a dead thing or a bygone event. But ur love is temporarily away from you. It is not memory. Just missing... Can u change the word memory in tlhe title.. One great thing is your graphic account of feelings. A kiss can be so sensuous! Actually in India such a kiss felt in the mouth is something awfully passionate...I like such sense intensity but find it very difficult to describe it in a poem. Keep it on.

A kiss is where the romance is and to savour the kiss of one you love is a sweet and perfect memory. I love the words 'then that taste is your name'.

Completely beautiful - not a word out of place.
