A Walk In The Park Poem by Ray Hansell

A Walk In The Park

Walking through the park
You and I holding hands
Watching all the birds
As they softly land

We find an empty bench
We sit beneath the a tree
The leaves and branches above
Cast a shadow on you and me

People passing by
Enjoying the great outdoors
This little piece of heaven
Is our's to explore

A summer day in the park
Just cannot be beat
The shade keeps us cool
To help fight the summer heat

Walking through the park
We sit to take a rest
This time in life we're sharing
Can only be described as the best
