A Village Poem by Nivedita Dutta

A Village

Rating: 5.0

Rising along with the sun
Having enemity with none
Feeding animals in the shed
With some fodder and bread
Farmers going to the field
Irrigating the crops for some good yield
Sitting under the trees
Making oneself happy with the cool breeze
Sometimes under them dozing off
Celebrating after harvesting the crop
Recalling the story grandma told
By fulfilling the wish of every young and old
