A True Friend Poem by Nvisible 2Luv

A True Friend

Rating: 5.0

A true Cinderella story
Well honestly, not quite
Though I'm tryin' to believe it
Tryin' with all my might.
Just like Ever After
I'm throwin' apples at the Prince
But exactly who is it
Who hides, no words to mince.
No that's not my Prince
My Prince has courage
And a few little words wouldn't scare
He would be concerned with my heart
And maybe a little bit my hair
Coming like Melchizedek,
Like a dandelion in the wind
But I'm still thrilled to love him
Thrilled to call Him my friend.
