A Time Of Hoaxes Poem by Michael Hopkins

Note: I was thinking on current events in our world and how easily whole populations have been deceived into their own demise which is all based on manipulations based on lies or hoaxes that defy logic. The final verse of the poem came to mind and I completed it with verse one and two a few hours later. I wrote this poem in the haiku style of poetry yesterday and published it for the first time today on my blog, the 1st of June,2021.
