A Thank You To The Military

To all the military men and women
Who died in action:
I commend you for being so concerned
About your country
That you chose to sacrifice your lives
So that it would stand
Until the Second Coming of Jesus Christ;
Your selflessness shall not go unrewarded.

I am the only being whose doom
No tongue would ask no eye would mourn
I never caused a thought of gloom
A smile of joy since I was born
