A Summers Day Poem by Judy Alegria

A Summers Day

Rating: 3.0

A summer day has soon gone by,
bringing forth it's fruit by Sun.
Water streams gently through
growing steadly a healthy son.
Swaying grains and singing hills,
basking in its summer glow-
soon it shall leave but soon return.
From dusk 'till dawn the ravens crow.
A sun of heat, a breeze of wind
A flower blooms, and then-deceased.
A short string but long it lived,
to and fro in Summer feast.
A Summers day has soon gone by
bringing forth its fruit by sun,
water streams gently through,
bidding adue to a healthy son.
