A Star Filled Sky Poem by Patricia Wiley

A Star Filled Sky

Rating: 5.0

As the moonlight shined down upon my face
I look to the skies for that amazing grace.
I looked for answers truth or lies
Waiting and watching for that one little sign.

I went trough the stars searching far and wide,
For that one that would catch my eye.
It took many years, but there it was
the northern star leading me straight to you.
I followed it and thought it was a lie.

There you are and i want you badly.
But now your mine.
So your my northern star shining so bright,
That your the one that leaves me in flight,
Never to land at Your Amazing Grace.

Your like no other that i want to see,
Your my guided path and promise in time.
You know my past and what not to do
And thats what makes you my northern star
Sent from the heavenly skies.....
