That Dirt Road Poem by Patricia Wiley

That Dirt Road

Rating: 5.0

That Dirt road,
that most people know,
they know it for the memories,
they know it for the love.

That dirt road
that we all wish
that somehow,
sometime just once more
we can go down

That dirt road
Where things
are meant to stay,
but we pry anyway
for thoose things
that we have left
but want so dearly
some to relive
and some to erase
from history,

That dirt road
has good and bad
we still we wish for that one chance
at are longing on
That Dirt Road.

i love this poem... everyone wishes they could go back and fix things.. some people wish they could go back and just stay.. but the past is the past... i love the use of the dirt road to represent the past.. great job!
