A Song For Her Poem by Jude Lavu

A Song For Her

I'll scriven down a ditty and bring along my guitar,
Then sing it to her on the shores of Manhattan,
And just from this song, She'll apperceive that
My love for her is still sinewy.

Late night stroll on the beach,
Honeymoon in the cold of the Antarctica,
And all she's ever longed for i'll embody in the ditty,
And just from this song, She'll apperceive that
My love for her is still sinewy.

I, 'll remind her of the house she's always envisioned,
And how i could spend my whole day hammering away,
Just to build a mansionette for her,
And just from this song, She'll apperceive that
My love for her is still sinewy.

I'll let in on my love for her,
And tell her how special she'z always been,
I'll then let her know she's a princess,
Watching as tear drop from her eye,
And just from this song, She'll apperceive that
My love for her is still sinewy.

I'll sing this song just for her,
And watch her fall and drift into slumber,
Holding her close in my arms, a ballad i'll churn,
Like a queen, I'll treat her loyal,
And just from this song, She'll apperceive that
My love for her is still sinewy
