In a field of darkness.
That is what You are.

You light shines bright;
It saves wretched souls.
It saves them from an endless night.

Shining with hope.
That is what You are.

A beacon of love,
Of light, of warmth.
Of endless freedom high above.

A single star,
Glorious in the field of night.
That is what You are.

And twinkle into existence,
Countless other lights.
All saved by that one single star,
United against nights.
