A Sincere Friend Poem by Saviour Otubelu

A Sincere Friend

Rating: 3.8

Love never fades but feelings do
Love is a loyal servant, ever true
True friendship is built with blocks of love
However rough the wind chooses to blow
A real friend would never let go

Friendship is something to hold dear
It is a gift so treasured and rare
It gives support like a massive wall
Its worth is beyond human logic
It softens the heart like sweet music

A listening ear to share your pain
Soothing words that flow like rain
A willing shoulder to lean upon
A smile that heals hurts and aches
A heart open to hugs and handshakes

A hand to wipe every tear you shed
A knee on which to rest your head
An arm to rescue when you drown
A voice that strengthens when you’re weak
A sincere friend- that’s all I seek
