A shooting Star flew by one night
I wished upon its burning light
I wished for love to fill a heart
For love taken away in the dark

A Shooting Star flew by one night

My wish was answered by you and you
Who would have known the love of few
Would grow to heaven’s blue

A knight in shining armor you might not be
A protector with strength and love you have given me

A Shooting Star flew by one night

Your love for us you have not failed
You took our hands and rode the Shooting Star’s tail
