A Remembrance
A tear silently left
the corner of my eye
dragged me to the window
to look at the dark night sky
I felt her love deeper than ever
the breeze brought back
the fragrance of love
desire blossomed like the winter roses
I felt her love melting on my body
and a lump rise in my throat,
I felt the desire to meet her,
I truly understood the meaning
of this desire in her remembrance.
Love gives us strength and makes us sociable. We long for meeting our love so as to have a purpose in life. This desire coupled with remembrance of that love has been deftly portrayed in the poem. Thanks. A lovely quote from the poem: the breeze brought back / the fragrance of love

Thoughts of the dear one are so intense that they move the poet to tears! Tears well up in our eyes when emotions swell in our hearts! A lovely poem!
