A Quaint Western Town Poem by Marilyn Lott

A Quaint Western Town

It’s a quaint little ‘ole western town
With country in its soul
There’s an old fashioned barber shop
Along with a barber pole

You’ll find a place to spend the night
A bunkhouse is where to stay
A town with country flavor
A great place to shop and play

You might want to soak yourself
In a charming rustic tub
Just lay right back and take your time
And possibly even scrub

You just have to meet Asparagus Bob
He’s quite a handsome dude
One look at this bearded guy
And you’ll be in a country mood

The Old West is what it’s all about
Hop in your car or take a bus
You’ve just gotta come and visit
The Rockin’ L & H Asparagus!
