A Poem To You Poem by Pranab Kusum Dutta

A Poem To You

Many a time this poem I write to you
And each time I failed to tell you what I mean.
The beauties are flashed beneath the sun
And the beauties to me yet unseen-
You are the anthology!

Many a time through my dreams
Years percolate and tear them apart.
Listening to my echoing ache
Thought life's necessarily an obituary art
And full of fake- vague analogy!

Then you smile and take my hand
Help me to fly between the heart and soul.
Universe, certainly I comprehend
In its newest replenished form, begin to roll;
I too start to resurrect life! And at the end-

The distance I see of thousand light years
From you to me, it takes nothing more
Than a ocean of tears, and the shore
Sometimes flooded with pride,
Once I touched you, once I deprived
From everything you had for me!
