A Poem On Love Poem by Soumita Sarkar

A Poem On Love

Rating: 5.0

Frightfully easy, see
to write adorned poetry
on feelings as lovely,
pretty, fair, soulful
as lover's fantasy.

See love's reality-
it crumbles, bites
creeps crushes and cries.
Mindful ye newbie,
path of a lover's story
a casket of vacuum
when given a room.

I feel desperately sorry
for poets like me
and their poetry;
which borders love
with its fine artistry.

No, newbie can gain nothing.
Frankly speaking;
what's attain in heartbroken
feelings of a looser in love?
What sense and what sensibility?

Yet love can be best known
only, when you love alone.

But a poem on love-
bleeding sweet drops
in betrayal, fear, pain, burden
awares in-
carefully handing of emotions
before the pain had slain.

Pathetic pitiable heart
falls again in charms
dulls again in traps, with
birth of a new poem in love.
