A Perplexion Poem by Nathaniel Graves

A Perplexion

Relationships...
Come and go like the wind,
Sweeping and stirring emotional tantrums,
Cascading ultra-violet rays into a deep
Dark void,
Avoiding all that ever was,
And all that ever will.
A perplexion –
From end to end –
Distance,
And it collapsed our bridge of fated defeat,
Plummeting us downward
Into the void...
Blind, like we once were.
Blind, like we always were...
