Endlesnicity Poem by Nathaniel Graves

Endlesnicity

Refrain from the silence!
You know you can't refuse!
But I, on the other hand...
My words don't portray,
And my meanings, meaningless.
As if time only stood for you,
And mocks me for inconvenience.
Ironic, I do agree,
But fact can't run from the truth.
Especially when it is I –
Expressing and reminiscing
In this thoughtful disarray –
Spell out the word of indignation:

C
O
N
T
R
A
D
I
C
T
I
O
N

And will soon –
Out of all endeavoured restraint –
Express nothing but my yielding consciousness.
And in the end, nothing at all...
