People called them the perfect couple
Always cheery, Always smiling
Holding hands wherever they went
But through time he began to forget
He forgot her love
And how much she always cared
More and more distant he became
At times, rarely even speaking her name
She cried alone in their empty home
Pleading for the love that she once knew
All the love that she missed
Love replaced by harsh words and angry fists
She silently endured her heartbreak
Secretly hiding the bruises and pain
Until the day she could take no more
And he came home late, to find her dead on the floor
very sad.. but it was so lively.. dying cause of failure...happens many time.. brilliantly written...good one..
This sounds like my poem, 'she could have been the best... this world's ever seen' I really like the subject matter of your poem. There's some real emotion there, which is always the key to writing good poetry. I like it.

You have a good start writing in free verse. But the subject is one many people write about, and they sound very much alike. When you get more life experience you'll have more to write about if you don't already.
