A Painted Mask Poem by Megan (Emo) white

A Painted Mask

Rating: 5.0

A painted mask
covering my fears
that fades off at night
and lets out my tears

A tear for the hated
A tear for this life
hearing words so hurtful
that stab me like a knife

Im silently wishing
and hoping and praying
for someone to save me
because my life is graying

inside i am dying
from all of this stress
with all this damage
my life is a mess
i wish i was pretty
i wish i was bright
all darkness invaded
and banished all night

and i ask you
'what happend to me? it happend so quickly
that i couldnt see'
im felling so lonley
this isnt an act
my strenght has been
weekend
my mask is now cracked
