Feelings withered strengths scattered
Lives smothered and made to die
Earth is sodden and so is sky
Water is red and so are flames
Agonies and despair in the air
Burning bliss and burning peace
With teary eyes and beating hearts
Lives shriveling in its bleeding arms

A sprout of hope with yet another dawn
A year ahead; days yet to unfold
Grief, panic pain and blood shed
Will this be yet again the gift ………….
