A New Leader Poem by Randy McClave

This year I found out that I have more
Than what I had two years before,
I have more money in the banks
So, I need and want to say and give thanks.
I have a country that I again truly do love
And I don't have a president that I'm ashamed and embarrassed of,
Everyone is hiring to the left and to the right
And once again the United States is showing her might.
America is home to the proud and the brave
And not to racists or bullies or at dictators do they wave,
And we are standing against and Russia and Putin
Unlike our past president who supported Russia and glutton.
Now when I look upon my taxes and as I stare
I know understand and know that taxation is more fair,
And how proudly we are helping the needy and the poor
In our land and on our shore.
Now we have a leader who is caring and not stupid or arrogant
We are finally caring about our world and our environment,
I am finally again breathing the sweet air of freedom
From the Statue of Liberty it is were it democracy come.
Now we have a leader who does not cheat or lie
Nor does he prey on the dumb and gullible in the wink of an eye,
Two years ago our country was a complete disaster
Now we have a president who doesn't worship an evil master.
