Thank you G-d for the gift of words,
for ideas, emotions and love-longings shared.
if my beloved could not write of his love for me
how poverty stricken would my mind be.

how much passion and delight can be conveyed
by a necklace of words that he has made;
lain gently round my neck and throat
those life saving beads keep me afloat.

he paints pictures with words
and tells of his love,
and she thanks G-d for the gifts
