Candy Floss And Melty Ice Cream Poem by Sylvia Lukeman

Candy Floss And Melty Ice Cream

Rating: 1.8

Did you walk by the foaming sea today?
And eat candy floss or melty ice cream?
Did you watch leaping dolphins whilst at play?
Or paddle trousers-rolled-up in a babbling stream?

I should dearly love to know.

Were fluffy clouds drifting lazily by
As upon the beach you romped and played?
Did you shed a tear or maybe cry
When the sea washed your crumbly castles away.

I cried because I missed you so.
