A Messenger Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

A Messenger

Rating: 5.0

...Gliding 'cross the skies
Upon a cotton-white cloud
...I gather in the Ethereal
Leaving behind: 'The Proud'

Setting my aims for lofty climbs
...Where Angels make their abode
I softly drift-so lightly
...Giving heed, to the seeds i've sown

God's Most Divine Messenger's
...Their names, with message hold-
Revelations of hidden drama's
...As of yet, to be publicly told

For in The Light, all becomes clear
...As motives, some bad, oft' go
But forever, Enlightening His chosen
...With The Wisdom, even in Darkness To Know

...A Protection from the Greedy
A protection from The Sadist's Pain
...Gliding 'cross the Azure skies
I sing this sweet refrain:
Thank You God, In Heaven
Thank You, My Divine Patron Saint
Thank You, Guardian Angel's
For The Truth, You So Diligently Paint
