A Love Story No More
Long ago, there was you and me
Long ago, we were so happy
Long ago, we made promises
And long ago, we made many memories.
Yet, all of a sudden it all fade away
The love story of you and me
My heart was in pain and my eyes were about to cry
My whole body was so weary
How can I let go of you?
When all along I can always see you
I am really trying to
Yet, I can't really do.
Why is it too easy for you?
Yet, so really hard for me
Oh, could you please help me?
For, it seems that you've let go already.
How can I let go of you? All along i see you only and it is so easy for you let me go. love and relationship. skin deep or touching the depths of the heart. love of the body or love of your inner strength and character? what are the intentions when you fall in love? is it true or false? so many questions........ but u always learn....... and these lessons are for life. thank you very much for this poem. liked your simplicity very much.
Welcome to this Forum, Kristel. This poem is remarkably written. It is a study in man-woman relationships and their different psychological make up. Loved reading it. It made me sad. How can I let go of you? / When all along I can always see you I am really trying to / Yet, I can't really do.
