A Limerick- My Poor Poem Poem by Mohammad Akmal Nazir

A Limerick- My Poor Poem

Rating: 5.0

Thou come and go
At least I think so
What happens then
I lift my pen
I write what I feel
I lose all my zeal
My poem is very sad
My tears tear the pad
They wash the poem away
Then you come one day
It happens once again
The pad has painful rain
How long it will go?
I surely don't know.

At times a burnout, or writers block, is imminent, but then comes some source of inspiration to rekindle the poetic passion. and once again, we are able to write with flair. Keep writing. Good job. I'm voting a 10.

A funny poem indeed that describes about the advent of your thought, and you write them too. But, your pain provoke to weep and your tears wash away your recent written poem. Now, you've come in funny poetry and I hope after Haiku you'll surely be successful in LIMERICK too. Nice write.
