A Light, You Can See Poem by Udaya R. Tennakoon

A Light, You Can See

Stop.. stop
To think and to imagine
You are nearby me
want to stop my thinking

A sickness to you
A virus to me
To your desires
A hell and a fire

Stop.. stop
I do stop
What you wish and
How you expect

I can see your heart
And your eyes
Let me begin to think
Of your hope

In a pause
At your absence
A spirit from my prison
Insertedto my mind

You look at me in curiosity
my joy without thinking
Nothing a change, yet
A light, you can see

You may sleep well
Let loose your revenge
In my emptiness
Take beck your joy
