Today I wrote you a letter my love
It was long and full of meaning
I wrote it to tell you that I love you
Hoping that you would have found it
I looked at you today
You looked so different
I thought to myself
This just couldn’t be you
And I just couldn’t believe
I wrote you a letter today
It did have meaning
I should have gave it to you sooner
Before you up and left
This letter that I wrote for you
You’ll never find it
I cut it up
Tossed it away
So no one could find it
Now I look at you
All drugged up
My love you throw me away
You don’t even know it
I’ll love you till forever
Cause you my love you've just been a friend
That I’ve loved from a far
