A Letter From Above Poem by Mduduzi OneMind

A Letter From Above

Rating: 5.0

Dear Tshawekazi

In the beginning of our time
When the world was still black and white, quiet and loud at a time.
Before you could understand the erroneous and the veracious
Before you could learn to sympathize and not agonize
I was here before you released your eyes to see the world
I saw and favored you earlier before you could acknowledge my existence
I already knew and loved you. As I do now.

I lifted you up when there was no one nearby
I took the steps when you couldn't step on your own
To walk in front of you as I prepare the pathway
Whether in this life or the next
I love you MIMZ.

I know the depths of the world, the highs and lows
Sometimes you'd feel like disappearing, and be aloof from everyone
As the road gets tough and rough, with the lonely nights filled with the trails of depression

You are never alone, we are always close watching from beyond
If you could halt crying and listen, you'll hear my voice from the seventh of heaevn
That is the paradise, telling you to be filled with courage.

Some nights are filled with happiness, as you are surrounded by those that cherish your soul and care about your well-being
You've been fighting on each and every day, fighting a personal struggle
That you no longer have to fight

Smile to the sky, the angels are doing the fighting for you
You are the light that blazes the cods away.
You are blessed with the strength of thousands women.

Never give up, no matter how challenging and testing life may be opposing
Remain strong in spirit and heart, until we meet again MIMZ
Keep smiling, shining, moving forward.

And love will always cover you and those you hold dearly in your heart.
