A Leopard's Daydream2 Poem by Philo Yan

A Leopard's Daydream2

Rating: 5.0

Leopard leaps on branch to crouch
Breathing heavy in thick tall trees
Scans the scene in nonchalant slouch
Coolest cat in the blowing breeze

Leopard stares with steely eyes
Breathing changes to whispering sighs
Sun goes up the temperatures rise
Heat has gathered in the afternoon skies

Leopard hazards an afternoon dream
rests his body on thick moss tree
laying next to a running stream
rhythmic movement, peaceful and free.
