A Horrible Temptation Poem by Nathan Coppedge

A Horrible Temptation

Take me, take me along you say...

Then you will be sold into the jungle.

Then you will hear only the absurd sound of a bird...

Until you go away.

And no one will complain.

Should it happen again,

You will surely go insane.
