A Heart Ripped In Two Poem by Kaleb Hobelman

A Heart Ripped In Two

Rating: 5.0

A heart ripped in two
I knew it must be you
Too see all the time I spent
Trying to get you
All it was blood and tears
Wasted on a failing case

A reminder that I didn’t succeed
That I don’t have you all to me
I didn’t win the prize I wanted
What worked so hard to get
Just vanished in the air

I know what they mean
A heart ripped in two
Now that I have endured you
It pains me to see
You with another man
Trying to break through
To get back at me

Well I hope you got what you wanted
I don’t hate you
I don’t need
I know it’s true
It must be my fault
My heart is ripped in two.
