A Guy's Vernacular Poem by Michael Pruchnicki

A Guy's Vernacular

Rating: 0.5

If you can't use the vernacular
if you prefer rodomontade
to the precise inflections
of one who works at his trade
by emulating role models

such as all those teachers
who have written elegantly
about all things human
and animal

hahaha great one! We do have our own vernacular don't we? 'Beer, Food, women'....quite simple most times...allthough i do think Ivor is right, it must be altered every now and then unfortunately

I agree one must modify ones words to suit the audience.
