A Guitar Song Poem by Walterrean Salley

A Guitar Song

Rating: 4.7

It has entertained the masses
O’er the stretch of time,
And has seen its heyday
In the light and the lime.

The guitar is fashioned
A stringed instrument
That mirrors the heart
With rhythmic sentiments.

And like an old friend
That never goes away—
The guitar is a staple,
That is here to stay.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM

Even an old guitar with its strings broken is treasured as a keepsake to remember the sweet melodies once played on it, enthralling many an ear! ! A simple and sweet poem! !

nice description of a guitar song. In the past, guitar used to play in a salon only but now it is a concert string instrument because the guitar can project the sound clearly and loudly.
