A Gentle Reminder Poem by Govind Ramakrishnan

A Gentle Reminder

Rating: 4.1

For the
River of Chi
To flow free,
Each needle
With surgical precision
Is placed on
Strategic acupoints

Restoring
Needed balance,
To a body
Assaulted by
Pollen-missiles
Launched
From an otherwise
Friendly park

Lying in bed
Each prick
A gentle reminder,
That life is
Seldom
A bed of roses.
