A Frozen Smile
i sent you a smile
miles away from the time
through the aging breeze
that sailed across the broken light.
did you miss me in the ombre night
as you gazed upon the winter mist
did you find me in the twisted might
as i mourned for the dying faith.
a piece of smile
warmly froze
the blooming rose.
a sincere smile
nicely wrapped
for a guy
who wasn't there.
