A Flame Lies Burning Poem by Antony Waller

A Flame Lies Burning

A flame lies burning

Submerged from sight

Smouldering, simmering

Neath the turmoil, obfuscation

Intense, consuming

All bright and wondrous

Never dimming, not extinguished

A flickering living potent portend

Fuel it, feed it and fire its flame

It burns for you
