A Difference Under The Sun Poem by U Win Kyi

A Difference Under The Sun

For a poor man
it is no fun
working under the hot sun.
For a regular 3 meals,
for the kid's school fee,
ache and pain in the legs
thirst, dry mouth and profuse sweat
all the hardship he has to bear
without shedding a dropp of tear.

For a rich man
it is fun
basking under the soft sun.
Wearing an expensive sunglass
with a girlfriend with a big bust,
sipping an ice-cold beer can,
exposing the skin to get tanned,
lying on the white sand beach,
watching the waves of ocean deep,
listening the seagull sing
enjoying the cool the wind brings.
