A Day I Was A King Poem by Rohan Routrai

A Day I Was A King

Rating: 5.0

A day I was a king with all riches,
With all my royal and noble things,
Sitting on a throne made up of gold,
With all my ministers side and aside,
Praising for my health and wealth.

Shower of blessings and blessings were offered to me by the poor,
After receiving golds and golds from me,
A party of friends of mine from far and far
Came to me for help and mercy.

The Brahmins performed religious rituals,
For me and for my kingdom.
The Kshaitryas with their swords,
Fought and won from my mighty enemies.
The Vaishyas with a plough kept farming and farming,
And ended the hunger of millions of people.
The Shudras worked and worked as my slaves,
And kept my kingdom neat and clean.
'Long live king, Long live...'
Praised the people.
