A Dandelion's Plight Poem by Rommel Galicia

A Dandelion's Plight

Together with the wind blow
Of summer and of spring
A twirling dandelion dances through
From a wishful heart to the sky soaring

Aimlessly veering on a horizon
Of ocean blues and valley hues
The depth of deafening uncertainties
And the loud noise of reality hold upon

A dandelion's plight is like a life's path
For sometime it may veer aimlessly
Soaring high with pride and might
Ending up on the ground to live humbly

May this dandelion come forth to nestle
To the one who holds a wish so dear
When a starry night comes close and real
And a sound sleep brings them so near.
