A Capricorn Bites The Dust Poem by jerry hughes

A Capricorn Bites The Dust

Ye gods, will it never end?
It will, when I toe the line
and 'Urbie' says,
'git your arse in here! '

Today I bid adieu
to my old mate Alan Bainbridge.
I was bereft, for he was indeed,
an old mate.

Accolades with humour, a bit trite,
but in the circumstances, adequate.
Apart from your company I'll miss the
humour, and long (business?) lunches,
Al pal.

It is very sad and hard to bid adieu to an old friend. You have expressed your feelings and remembrances in a wonderful honorable way and created a great sense of humor in the title as a tribute to your old pal. Please accept my deep condolences as well. Regards. Naseer

A fitting eulogy for a dear departed friend. You honor him! Capricorn is one of the most loyal and steadfast signs.

For these words speak volumes of a dear friend that the physical vessel has expelled though his spirit rides amongst the universes that shadow our humble world. Beautiful!
