A Call For Starlight Poem by Ese Mamman

A Call For Starlight

It's always been windy in the shadows.
I can hear the wind as it howls.
Since I'm in the dark with no clothes,
I always shiver as the breeze blows.

Up up above I see a star,
Then I howl hoping she'll hear me.
Since nothing's hidden under a star,
I know she's looking down upon me.

I'm lonely and waiting for you star.
I don't care if you're an extra terrestrial.
I'll love and adorn you beautiful star.
Come, take me to the Celestial.

I need an enlightened mind,
So I can see in the darkness.
Come, illuminate my mind,
And I'll be yours in wilderness.
