A Breath Of Words Poem by Simon Lawson

A Breath Of Words

Rating: 5.0

One must never be too busy for a poem,
or a good book,
for life is long but so is it short
and whilst a day with purpose is well spent
what is a day really without the wandering of the mind
or the freedom of imagination
why not have in each of your days
a hallowed time for soul and wisdom
a time
though small
to ponder and dream.

The following lines of the poem remind me of a book- How To Live on Twenty Four Hours A Day- authored by Arnold Bennet about a hundred years ago: why not have in each of your days a hallowed time for soul and wisdom Many Many Thanks, Dear Simon, for this wonderful and thought provoking poem.

We wonder in freedom of imagination. Many ponder in dream. An amazing poem is shared.10
