A Bihari Patania Lala,
Dark-compexioned and with the specs
Over the face
Himself fathering a child,
But keeping his beautiful and young daughter
Inside under strict vigil.

One from Bihar state,
Rough and rural,
Patania, I mean of Patna
A Lala,
A clerical caste man.
