A Beautiful Report! Poem by Denis Martindale

How Great Thou Art is one great song, and thus deserves more thought,
Though we don't sing it all day long, it's worthy to be taught...

Yet think of teachers here and there who did the best they could,
Investing time, with love and prayer, thus proving they were good.
A beautiful report indeed, and worthy of acclaim,
Yet God made sure they would succeed, beyond their share of fame.

Though servants come, and servants go, we still accept the loss,
Because they helped so many grow when teaching of the Cross.
God will replace the saints who leave, with teachers yet to be,
To bring us truths we may receive, with thanks for Calvary!
