Me, Myself and I

(12 october 1974)

A Beautiful Day

As the sun opens up and begins to rule the morning,
It sheds its light over our crumpled sheets,
Waking me to yet another day with you,
As these morning’s are the ones that I most treasure,
That crooked smile, and your cold feet, it’s the only thing that you wear,
I stretch, and begin to untwine myself from you,
Your body’s so warm and the soft aroma of desire, still lingers in the early air,
Leaning forward, I kiss your brow as you awaken with me, as we both share a smile,
I shed these sheets and make the coffee, as the kettle lets go its whistle,
Returning to the bedroom, I present you with our brew,
You let loose your smile that ‘lights up my room’ and indeed my very world,
For I now know that deep inside ‘everything’s going to be ok’
Whatever the day will bring,
As whenever I’m with you “it’s truly a beautiful day”

Too many mis-located commas amidst the same one train of thought....ok is slang and the use of it takes away from the formality of the work...okay is what you want...I see you also have an obsession for quote symbols...Totally distracting & grammarically faux-pas...No need to use them to embolden your conveyence. The theme and several segments of your delivery show that your writing has improved. Keep an open mind towards constructive advice, and keep that pen pumping ~FjR~ (Report) Reply

Days begin with joy long days create.
Then dusk begins to shed the light night fades.
And hand in hand both settle down and wait...iip (Report) Reply

Dost see how unregarded now
That piece of beauty passes?
