7 Little Crows (Part 6 Of 8) 'Murder' Poem by Rikki Giovani

7 Little Crows (Part 6 Of 8) 'Murder'

The sixth is a story of Murder.
In the middle of dinner Ronnie got a weird feeling in the pit of his stomach.
They had already sent Omar to bed because he was sleepy.
During their conversation on how they wanted the relationship to progress the doorbell rang.
Ronnie excused himself to go get the door.
When he opened the door he saw that it was Mike.
'Mike what are you doing here, you have already hurt me enough. What do you want now? '
'I have wanted to get you back for awhile, I still love you. Please come back to me.'
'Look Mike, I'm sorry but I am with someone and I am in love with him.
When we got together I asked you to make me one promise and you broke that promise.
You broke my heart more than anyone in my whole life.'
With that Mike grew intensely angry and pulled out his gun from behind his back.
In a rage he yelled, 'If I can't have you then no one will.'
He pointed the gun at Ronnie and pulled the trigger.
As he hit to the ground Ronnie muttered 'Why?
Everything I ever did was for you, I gave up my happiness just so you could be happy.
I never did anything for myself it was always about you. Why, Mike, Why? '
Tears slowly rose up into Mike's eyes as he said, 'I'm sorry, I just didn't want anyone else to have you.
I felt like no one but me deserved to have you.'
At that statement Ronnie passed out.
Mike heard sirens behind him and said, 'I'm so sorry Ronnie, I should just of let you be happy.'
He lifted the gun to the bottom of his chin and pulled the trigger.
